Regent Cruises 2010 : Canyon Ranch Spa

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

Regent shipboard spas have always provided a heavenly escape into a secluded realm of supreme tranquility.  Now Regent Cruises is partnering with Canyon Ranch, the leading operator of destination health resorts.  Canyon Ranch will soon operate the spa, beauty salon and wellness and fitness facitilies on board the line’s fleet of all-suite ultra-luxury ships.

Canyon Ranch SpaClub will be installed on each ship in December 2009, with the first cruises featuring this luxurious facility being Dec. 18 for Seven Seas Voyager, Dec. 20 for Seven Seas Mariner, and Dec. 28 for Seven Seas Navigator.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will also feature a full range of culinary offerings from Canyon Ranch’s incomparable Spa Cuisine, which is both nutritious and created with the highest gourmet standards. This array of healthy cuisine will be available starting in the spring of 2010 at breakfast, lunch and dinner in each of the ships’ main dining room, Compass Rose; for breakfast and lunch in the more casual dining venue La Veranda; at the Pool Grill, and on the 24-hour Room Service menu for in-suite dining.

More Than a Spa, A Lifestyle

Canyon Ranch certified fitness instructors will conduct daily group and private fitness, yoga and tai chi classes for guests. In addition, on select voyages Canyon Ranch healthy living experts will offer on-board presentations and workshops addressing lifestyle change, healthy living, stress management and a variety of other topics.

The Canyon Ranch SpaClub Beauty Salon will offer complete beauty services for women and men. The extensive Salon menu will feature hair design and nail care treatments, including luxurious spa manicures and pedicures, makeup consultations and makeovers.

The facility will offer an array of rejuvenating spa treatments, some created specially for Regent guests, include massages and therapeutic bodywork, mud, aromatherapy, ayuvedic and seaweed treatments, facials and masks featuring Canyon Ranch’s award winning Your Transformation skincare products, conditioning body scrubs and therapeutic body cocoons.

    Regent Seven Seas Cruises 2009

    Friday, January 30th, 2009

regentbanner1Regent Seven Seas Cruises offer voyages of exploration and discovery to more than 300 ports on seven continents, including Antarctica. The ships are designed for guests numbering in the hundreds rather than the thousands to provide a more intimate experience. The ambiance on board is personal, individual, accommodating – “upscale but not uptight.” And all ships share certain distinctions in accommodations, service, dining and amenities that elevate them to the lofty vantage point of our enviable six stars.

In addition to the all-suite, all-balcony 700-guest Seven Seas Voyager, Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet of six-star ships also includes the all-suite, all-balcony 700-guest Seven Seas Mariner, the 490-guest Seven Seas Navigator (with 90% balcony suites) and the 330-guest Paul Gauguin (with over 50% private balconies), a ship dedicated to sailing the South Pacific. In addition, the top-rated expedition ship Minerva is chartered on a seasonal basis for sailings to Antarctica.

In keeping with the brand promise of Luxury Goes Exploring, the company’s goal is to provide an ultra-luxury cruise experience in all corners of the world.  Regent Seven Seas Cruises is recognized as one of the world’s premier luxury lines with features such as 6-star, all-suite, all-balcony ships, Le Cordon Bleu menus and superior space and service ratios. However, even more compelling than the quality of ships is the adventurous spirit of RSSC – the imaginative itineraries, unique shore excursions and land tours, and the other innovative services offered discerning guests.

    Thursday, December 4th, 2008

Ensemble announced it would have their first-ever charter program. The 10 day luxury Caribbean vacation will be aboard the Seven Seas Navigator, sailing round trip from Ft. Lauderdale, January 12 – 23, 2010.

Take part in the first voyage from Ensembles Grand Journeys and experience the seclusion and beauty of 6 exclusive Caribbean islands – including St. Martin, British Virgin Islands (Spanish Town), St. Barthelemy, Cayo Lavantado (Dominican Republic), St. Croix, and Turks and Caicos. Ten days of memories will last you a lifetime on a 6-star luxury liner voted “World’s Best Large Ship Cruise Line” by the readers of the Vonde Nast Traveler. Join celebrity chef Lynn Crawford, renowned journalist Forest Sawyer, and 400 other like-minded travelers. We’ll be the only ship scheduled in each port of call, ensuring an exclusive and private voyage that only Ensemble Grand Journeys could offer. Book your passage now to ensure the accommodation you desire. Suites start at $4,699 USD per person, including food and beverages, comprehensive non-medical travel insurance and all shipboard gratuities.

The cruise will be sold exclusively by Ensemble agencies, and the itinerary has been designed so that the Seven Seas Navigator will be the only vessel at all seven ports of call.

Ensemble’s long range strategy includes a series of luxury land and cruise departures 3 to 5 times per year. Venues may range from a personal wine journey of off-limit wineries in Napa, to a private NASCAR adventure hosted by a giant in the auto-racing world.  Check back for future posts, as more details on these Ensemble Grand Journeys are released.
