Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Tour

Friday, July 17th, 2009

Up, Up, and Away!

Imagine a blue sky filled with a kaleidoscope of dazzling colors and shapes. That’s what you’ll experience at the world’s largest balloon event, the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Your spirits will soar as you watch more than 700 balloons from all over the world ascend into the skies during your four nights in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rise bright and early to witness the Opening Ceremonies, which are followed by a grand “Mass Ascension,” as hundreds of balloons – some vibrant, some whimsical – fill the skies over the grounds.

During your visit, you’ll also enjoy the Balloon Glow, a signature Fiesta event that’s guaranteed to set the night sky ablaze. Just before dusk, nearly 500 balloons are tethered over the fiesta grounds. In unison, the pilots set their burners aglow, creating a luminous, magical display, followed by a spectacular fireworks show. It’s a pyrotechnical display you’ll not soon forget.

These are the 2 most popular trips we offer to the Balloon Festival.

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta     5 days from $1,049 pp
Alburquerque Balloon Fiesta    5 days from $1,209 pp

Super Bowl Packages

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

Trivia: Who played in the first superbowl? In January 15, 1967, the Green Bay Packers (35) opened the Super Bowl series by defeating the AFL champion Chiefs (10) behind the passing of Bart Starr.

The Packers collected $15,000 per man and the Chiefs $7,500 – the largest single game shares in the history of team sports. Things have certainly changed!

This year, the Pittsburg (7th time in the Superbowl) will play the Cardinals, who are making their first appearance in a Superbowl game. The game will be in Tampa, Florida, February 1st at 6 p.m. Packages are still available.

And so it continues…

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

Ok so the markets haven’t really gotten any better since my last post but at least the bailout seems to be almost worked out. So what does that mean for travel ? Not much – there is still so much uncertainty that we are seeing a mixed mess of destinations being booked. Biggest seller right now is not a tour but the Tournament of Roses packages. Why you say? Well because football means something to American’s and the Rose Bowl is as American as it gets. Here’s another bonus about a Rose Bowl package – it gives you something different to do for New Year’s Eve – and boy can that be a challenge.
