Samantha Brown Celebrates 10 Years with the Travel Channel

Travel Channel host Samantha Brown will celebrate 10 years on the network with four, hour long specials beginning on February 8th at 8 p.m.  Visiting dozens of countries, hundreds of cities and staying in countless hotels around the world, Samantha has been a familiar face on Travel Channel.  

What an amazing job to have!  Traveling over 230 days a year, Samantha has an infinite amount of stories from her journeys — some humorous, some bizarre, but all entertaining.  As she enters her second decade with the network, she shares her favorite moments and gives fans an up-close and personal look at the past ten years on Travel Channel with the below all new one-hour specials.

  • Samantha Brown’s Vancouver (February 8 at 8PM) where Samantha discovers the natural beauty, winter activities, food and culture of the 2010 Winter Olympics host city.
  • Samantha Brown: Inside the Suitcase (February 9 at 8PM) Samantha shares her travel secrets, packing tips and her favorite moments from the road.
  • Samantha Brown Fan-a-thon (February 10 at 8PM) Samantha celebrates ten years of travel at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida with some VIPs — her fans.  Fans share some of their favorite show moments.
  • Samantha Brown’s World of Sports (February 11 at 8PM) Samantha takes viewers through a personal compendium of her best and worst sports-related moments throughout her time on the Travel Channel. 

Caribbean Travel & Life Magazine Show on the Travel Channel

cariblifeshowCaribbean Travel & Life Magazine has partnered with the Travel Channel. The series is called Affordable Caribbean and will feature all the wonderful caribbean islands, as well as highlighting resorts and ideas on how to save money on your next Caribbean vacations.

The show will features Antigua on August 1st and repeat the show again on Aug. 2nd, and then the Bahamas on August 8th with a repeat of the show on Aug. 9th at 8 a.m.

Samantha Brown Carnival Freedom Cruise

Carnival Freedom offers an abundance of duty-free shops, delicious dining options, bars, clubs, onboard activities and the addition of the Carnival Seaside Theatre, a 12 foot high by 22 foot wide LED screen located poolside on the Lido deck showing movies, sporting events and concerts making the ship as much an attraction as the destination.

Norwegian Cruise Line: NCL Pearl

The show, filmed in high-definition during a seven-day Alaska cruise aboard Norwegian Pearl, will premiere during the network’s Alaska-themed night on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 10 p.m. EST. The show will also air on Dec 22nd at 2 a.m., Dec 27th at 12 p.m., Jan 16th at 10 a.m. & Feb 12 at 10 p.m.  so set your Tivo!
