Viking River Cruises announced its lineup of 2010 river cruise itineraries. Early booking discounts will be offered…the suite discounts includes 2 for 1 pricing on the cruise portion of every itinerary; a $500 per person discount on international airfare purchased through Viking for a total savings of $1,000 per stateroom and complimentary wine with onboard dinners for guests who book and pay in full by May 31st, 2010.

Viking River Cruises will offer 3 new itineraries:

Danube Waltz: An 8 day sailing through Germany, Austria, Hungary & Slovakia along the Danube River.

China Discovery: A 10 day cruise tour that features all the imperial treasures of Beijing, plus a 6 day Yangtze river cruise through the Three Gorges.

Nile Explorer: A 9 day itinerary that showcases the highlights of Cairo & features a 5 day Aswan to Luxury cruise.

Green River Cruises

Viking river cruises recently unveiled the Viking Legend, a “green” ship with hybrid engines which are 20% more energy-efficient.  The ship will be sailing a 15 day Grand European itinerary from Amsterdam to Budapest along the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers.
