Walt Disney World has always been a magical place where dreams comes true. Starting today, Disney is launching the new American Idol Experience at Hollywood Studios, Orlando.
You can watch, perform and vote for your favorite singers. The daily prize will excited those with a dream to become the next American Idol.
Watch: The excitement unfolds before your eyes. This exhilarating attraction features all the glitz and glamour of the hit television series’ stunning set, and gives you an opportunity to experience the thrill as if really at the show.
Vote: Decide who has what it takes. Determine the destiny of the singers onstage by voting as a member of the attraction audience on your interactive keypad at your seat. See how far your favorite singer can go!
Perform: The challenge of auditioning. The rush of being onstage. A star could be born— who just might be you! The American Idol Experience provides select Guests with an opportunity to audition and sing onstage!
Similar to American Idol, park guests will audition to be one of 3 performers on each of the 7 main preliminary shows hosted daily, beginning at 11 a.m. Of the 21 performers, 7 will go on to complete in the “Grand Finale” show at 8 p.m. each day. The Finale winner gets a “Dream Ticket” to cut to the front of the line at any American Idol audition in the city of their choice.

If you are planning a vacation to Disney, and want to audition, book in advance as there are only 21 participants each day. American Idol, Season 8 on Fox, opens its voting this Tuesday night.
