A newer restaurant that has become popular very quickly is the Lulu Wilson, located in what used to be a mining cabin and was later the home of its namesake, a woman of the same name. This restaurant features specialties including oysters in champagne-chili sauce and vintage farm beef short ribs.
- What to Do If you want a really special treat for you and your sweetheart while in Aspen, contact the Above it All Balloon Company for a hot air balloon ride. Above it All will take you on an hour-long flight above the Elk Mountain Range, then treat you to a champagne brunch featuring mimosas, bagels, fresh fruit and chocolate covered strawberries, among other goodies. Honeymooning couples may enjoy the Aspen Cooking School, which offers a couple’s workshop on preparing a meal and learning how to pair it with wine. Of course, you get to enjoy the meal together when you’re finished.
