Who doesn’t love the King of Rock and Roll? Any time is a good time to celebrate the life and work of Elvis Presley, and there is no need to plan a trip to Graceland to do it. Elvis festivals are held in many cities in many parts of the world. If you want to experience good music, Elvis impersonators, and fun Elvis-related events, you can easily find an Elvis festival in many places, both in and out of the U.S., during the spring months. Profiled below are just a few of the various Elvis festivals taking place over the next couple of months.

The Branson Elvis Festival. The 7th Annual Branson Elvis Festival in the city of Branson, Missouri, will take place between April 12th and April 14th. The festival will kick off with a meet-and-greet event, a Legends in Concert show, and Elvis Contestant Karaoke on Friday April 12th. Saturday April 13th is the highlight of the festival; the day features the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, which is endorsed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. The contest is at 7:00pm, but you won’t want to miss shopping at the Elvis Vendor Village earlier in the day. The Festival closes on Sunday April 14th with the Grand Old Gospel hour at 10:00am.

The Elvis Weekender Festival. The U.K.’s 3rd annual Elvis Weekender Festival will be held in Bridlington between May 3rd and May 6th. Heat 1 and Heat 2 of the Official Ultimate Elvis Contest will take place on Friday May 3rd, as things gear up for the next day’s semi-finals. After the semi-finals, festival goers can enjoy Elvis tribute performer Pete Storm in concert with the backing band Red Alert. The contest finals and an award ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 5th. Finish off the long weekend by spending Monday, May 6th at the Blue Hawaiian Beach Party, complete with Rock A Hula dancing girls.

The Tupelo Elvis Festival. The Elvis Festival in Tupelo, Mississippi will be held from June 6th to June 9th. Over the course of the festival’s 4 day run, you’ll be able to catch concerts and appearances from Elvis tribute artists every day. In addition, the town will be hosting the Running with the King 5k Run, benefiting United Blood Services. Festival goers can also enjoy the carnival midway that will be set up for the occasion, and activities such as the Fling with the King Disc Golf tournament and an Elvis Lookalike Pet Parade.
These are just some of the Elvis festivals taking place between April and June. Elvis festivals will also be taking place in Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and Atlantic City, to name a just a few U.S. locations, as well as in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Queensland, Australia.
