Bandon, Oregon This seaside town is home to three of the top 10 public golf courses in the country, according to Golf Magazine. These are Pacific Dunes, which was rated number one in 2012, Bandon Dunes and Old McDonald. Flannagan’s Golf Tours is also located in Bandon, and offers local golf packages that are put together by John Flannagan, who lives in Bandon. He can book your accommodations, arrange tee times, recommend good caddies and make you dinner reservations during your stay. Pebble Beach, California Pebble Beach is another small coastal community that is known for its gorgeous golf courses. Pebble Beach Golf Links was rated #1 in the top 100 public golf courses by Golf Digest. Spyglass Hill Golf Course is considered one of the toughest golf courses in the world. Other courses in the town are The Links at Spanish Bay, Del Monte Golf Course and Peter Hay Golf Course. Stay at one of the upscale resorts in town, such as The Lodge at Pebble Beach or The Inn at Spanish Bay. Other activities to do in the area include horseback riding at the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center and driving the 17-Mile Drive Scenic Tour.

Some of the highest rated include the Blackmoor Golf Club, Tradition Golf Club, TPC of Myrtle Beach, World Tour Golf Links and The Dunes Club.
