If you want to go early in the morning, you can make your trip up the mountain in a real steam-powered train. Other trains leaving throughout the day might be diesel-powered. While you’re there, you can also drop by the Discovery Depot, which offers science activities along with the chance to dig for fossils, mine for gems, and pan for gold.
