Golden Temple

Udaipur

Taj Mahal
This is by far the most popular tourist attraction in India with about 3 million people visiting this 8th wonder of the world annually. The Taj Mahal was built by the Muslim rulers of India, the Mughals, and was completed in 1653. The entire structure is made of white marble and features a magnificent architecture that many claim has never been surpassed even to this day. Varanasi

Hampi
Hampi is located within Vijayanagara’s ruins. It’s considered to be one of the Hindu capitals of the world. There are many temples located in Hampi including the Krishna Temple, Hazara Rama Temple and Yantrodharaka Anjaneya Temple.

Palolem
Palolem is one of the most beautiful beaches is the southern part of Goa. Overall the sea is generally calm in this area. One of the reasons why this spot is so popular among tourists is that the hotels and restaurants are very affordable even for travelers that are on tight budgets.

Madurai
The impressive temple of Meenashki can be found in Maduarai. The city itself is over 4,000 years old, but still remains the center for Tamil culture. One of the city’s most popular events that takes place is in the month of April when a God and Goddess celestial wedding is reenacted.

Goa
Goa is best known for its beaches. There is lots of sand to lounge around on as well as plenty of places to enjoy the nightlife. Goa also has a lot of natural attractions to see as well as activities for those that are a little more adventurous.

Kaziranga National Park
If you want to see wildlife while in India then Kaziranga National Park is the place to go. Around 2/3’s of the world’s population of the great one horned rhinoceroses call this national park home. Visitors can also see elephants, tigers and water buffalos.

Delhi
Delhi is the capital city of India and a popular destination for travelers. First glance of the city can be overwhelming for visitors, but after getting over the initial shock of everything going on, Delhi can be quite a memorable experience. There’s everything you can think of in the city from beautiful gardens to relax in, large monuments to see and impressive mosques to take pictures of.

Ajanta and Ellora Caves
A lot of travelers have fun exploring the Ajanta and Ellora Caves. These caves are so extraordinary that it’s hard to put into words how incredible they are. They are actually carved into the hillside which is set practically in the middle of nowhere. The closest nearby town is Aurangabad.

Kerala Backwaters
These waters consist of a serious of lakes and lagoons. Many different types of aquatic animals live in The Kerala Backwaters including otters, crabs and turtle. The area has become very popular for tourists and there are several rice boats that have been converted to floating hotels that travelers can stay at.
