Worth mentioning, Celebrity Cruises announced that is has 2 new ships on order. Both ships will accommodate 2,900 guests with a size of 117,000 tons. “On this stunning new ship we will bring our guests even closer to the must-see destinations of the world, while indulging them on-board in the most luxurious accommodations, the finest culinary experiences, and the best hospitality delivered by our dedicated staff,” said Richard Bayley, president and CEO of Celebrity cruises. Celebrity expects the first ship to be ready in the fall of 2018, and the 2nd ship in the early part of 2020.
