TV Show Locations You Can Visit

Many TV shows have such gripping story lines that watchers find themselves immersed in the plots and feel as if they are actually part of the show. Certain TV shows have locations that are filmed or based on actual real life locations that are accessible to visitors. The following TV show locations can be visited by curious fans.

Downtown Abbey
This period drama is filmed at Highclere Castle, located in West Berkshire, England. On the show the Grantham family are the residents of this caste. Parts of the castle as well as the grounds are open to visitors up to 70 days of the year. The 8th Earl of Carnarvon and his wife actually do live at the castle with a few of their staff members.

Breaking Bad’s White House
The residence where the show’s infamous teacher, now drug lord, is an actual home. The White House is located at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Quite a few people actually visit it, but they aren’t allowed to go inside. The residents of the home had to install a surveillance system since they have so many visitors and don’t want to risk vandalism.

American Horror Story’s Murder House
This might be the creepiest residence on the list. The haunted mansion that started Ryan Murphy’s anthology series can be found at 120 Westchester Place Los Angeles, California. The house sold for $3.5 million last year and chances are you won’t get to go inside and take a look around. The outside is quite beautiful though so it would be worth the visit. Just keep an eye out for devious ghosts!

Orange Is The New Blacks’ Dmitri’s Russian Deli
Dmitri’s Russian Deli can actually be found in Astoria, Queens under the name Rosario’s Deli. Lucky for visitors they don’t store dead bodies in the freezer like they do on the TV show, but you can find some of the best pizzas around at the deli. They are also known for some Italian favorites like the spicy sopressata sandwich. The deli staff love visitors and many of them are more than willing to talk about Orange Is The New Black. If they aren’t busy serving customers that is!

If you love a hit TV show, you may be able to see where some of the scenes on the show actually take place. What better way is there to immerse yourself in your favorite TV show?
