You don’t have to head over to Epcot to get your beer fix this summer. SeaWorld, as well as Busch Gardens, will be offering their guests, 21 and older, free beer in the sizzling summer months. Here’s a little more information about this exciting offering.
SeaWorld
Through September 2nd, guests can enjoy two complimentary, 7-ounce beers while visiting the park. Guests will need to head over to Mama’s Pretzel Kitchen Patio in order to snag a free beer. Offerings will vary throughout the summer and include the Mako Red Ale, which is SeaWorld’s own signature beer, Bud Light, Coors Light, Yuengling, and Miller Lite.
Busch Gardens
Guests at Busch Gardens will be able to enjoy free beer through August 5th. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as guests have been able to enjoy Anheuser-Busch samples at the Hospitality House in the park for years. In the past, employees were also given two cases of free beer per month. This isn’t the only thing that park goers are excited about, either. There are rumors that Busch Gardens may be adding a rollercoaster in the near future. Many are speculating that it could be a Sky Rocket II rollercoaster that will have a 150-foot-high launch. If this ride is added, it would be the first new attraction at the park in over 3 years.
In the past, SeaWorld did offer free beer to park guests. Some park goers even went as far as to change their clothes so that they could go back and get another free sample. In 2009, the park did away with this, which angered many tourists. This may end up being a pretty smart move to bring back free beers as SeaWorld has struggled with their attendance recently. While free beers are only going to be a summer thing for now and not something permanent, it may be just what the park needs to generate some revenue during an often busy time of year for theme parks and to get individuals excited about going to SeaWorld again.
