For those that will need to use their phone while overseas, they should get a global package. Dependent on your service provider and where you will be traveling to, it can cost anywhere from $5 to $10 per day or even more. While you are overseas your phone may become damaged, get lost or be stolen. This is why it’s imperative to have insurance. Before traveling make sure you phone is insured. Make sure you read the fine print and see what the limitations are and what the criteria is in order to make a claim. Phone insurance does tend to be cheap and usually costs less than $10 a month. If you have to use it just one time it more than pays for itself.
