Best Halloween Attractions

Can you believe that Halloween is just around the corner? With it comes pumpkins, haunted houses and costumes. Here are some of the best Halloween attractions around the U.S. to help you get your Halloween fix.

13th Gate
This attraction is considered to be one of the top haunted houses in America. Located in Baton Rouge, expect to see things that you thought were only possible in your worst nightmares. One of the things that make this haunted house so scary is the amount of detail that goes into the scenery. Visitors will stand on a very rickety bridge with hundreds of live snakes down below, crawl through a realistic looking crematory oven and walk through cellars that are terrifyingly small. There are 13 different realms that visitors can go through, but not everyone can handle all 13 of them.

Corn Maze at Oakes Farm
For those that are looking for a less terrifying time and something that’s more family friendly, the Corn Maze at Oakes Farm won’t disappoint. It is located in East Tennessee and has been welcoming visitors for 17 years. There are 9 different corn mazes to try to conquer, a hayride that takes riders to a pumpkin patch, an investigations game, large slides and pedal cars. In total there are around 25 different activities to enjoy.

The Darkness And Creepyworld
The Darkness is by far one of the creepiest haunted houses in America. Visitors come from near and far to see what this haunted house is all about. Located in St. Louis near the St. Louis Cardinals Busch Stadium, The Darkness has a scream zone, the Monster Museum and a zombie laser tag. A lot of visitors also head over to Creepyworld, which is located about 20 minutes from The Darkness. It features 13 attractions which include freaky graveyards, haunted prisons, scary hospitals and creepy cornfields.

Eastern State Penitentiary Fear Factory
Jails aren’t just for prisoners. The Eastern State Penitentiary Fear Factory takes haunted houses to a whole other level. There are six different attractions here that include the Infirmary, Machine Shop, Lock Down, Break Out!, Quarantine 4D and Blood Yard. The real prison setting makes the whole experience terrifying and intimidating all at the same time. Those who are feeling brave can choose the full experience. Basically, they will be given a glow necklace, a tracking device and a spot of blood will be placed on their cheek. While they are walking around the attractions, they might be grabbed or pulled away from their group to experience massive amounts of terror.
