The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world. The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden is situated at the bottom of Corcovado Mountain, where the Christ the Redeemer statue overlooks the city. The garden boasts thousands of species of plants, trees, and flowers, as well as a museum, restaurant, and a children’s playground, making it a great place for all ages to enjoy. Highlights include the orchid garden, the grand avenue of the palms lined with hundreds of palm trees, and sightings of monkeys and tropical birds.
