As the U.S. continues to take steps in order to help slow down the spread of the coronavirus, many popular food chains have also made adjustments. Restaurants everywhere are functioning on takeout-or delivery-only models and many delivery services are waiving extra fees to make it easier for people to order while they stay in their homes due to coronavrius (a/k/a/ COVID-19) concerns.

Please keep in mind of course that things may change from one day to another, but at the time of this writing this post, here is the most currently information release by these popular restaurant chains. Delivery Services:
When ordering, make sure and request contactless delivery. We also suggest opening your food and disposing of the plastic right away. Researchers have found that the virus can survive on surfaces from a few hours to a few days to dispose of any receipts, containers, plastic bags, boxes, etc. just to be safe. Most importantly, wash your hands before eating!

Uber Eats
You can now specify to leave the order at the door or in a lobby for example versus having to accept a delivery in person. Uber Eats is trying to help keep local restaurants in business by waiving delivery fees across across the US and Canada.

DoorDash
The company is distributing gloves and hand sanitizer to delivery drivers. It is waiving commissions from local restaurants for the first 30 days so they can now offer delivery.

GrubHub
They will also defer the collection of commission it charges to independent restaurants for 4 weeks.
