Updated statement from NCL 7/29/20 – “Given that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities around the globe and travel and port restrictions in various parts of the world remain in effect, we have further suspended global cruise voyages through October 31, 2020. In an effort to provide additional transparency, beginning in August, we plan to provide an update at the end of each month regarding the status of voyage suspensions, including any potential extensions.”

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities around the globe and given the travel and port restrictions in various parts of the world, NCL has suspended cruises for a bit longer than initially announced.
When Will NCL Cruises Resume?
- All voyages with embarkation dates from August 1 through August 31, 2020 are cancelled
- All voyages with embarkation dates from September 1 through September 30, 2020; *except for Seattle-based Alaska sailings on Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Joy, which continue to be scheduled to operate
- All voyages in October 2020 to Canada/New England and Pacific Coastal cruises embarking in Vancouver including:
- Norwegian Bliss October 12, 2020
- Norwegian Joy October 4, 2020
- Norwegian Breakaway October 4, 2020 and October 11, 2020
- Norwegian Gem October 2, 2020 and October 9, 2020
*Note through the support of the Alaska delegation and openness of mayors in Alaska port towns, NCL has the possibility to resume voyages in September. For this reason, they have excluded the September voyages aboard Bliss and Joy.
This is sure to affect NCL’s Peace of Mind policy. We will update this post as more information becomes available. Browse NCL cruises 2021.
