Across the country on Election Day, everything from fast-food chains to delivery services are offering freebies and discounts when customers vote or participate at the polls.
DoorDash will waive delivery fees on orders of $15 or more on Election Day. Just use the promo code “VOTE.” DashPass subscribers that already get free delivery will get 10% off, up to $5, with the code DPVOTE.
Grubhub
GrubHub is running a “Delivery Your Voice,” come Nov. 3 customers can save time cooking with one of the following offers:
- 7-11: free delivery on orders of $15+
- BurgerFi: free delivery on orders of $15+
- Burger King: $3 off on orders of $18+
- California Pizza Kitchen: $10 off on orders of $30+
- Jersey Mike’s: gives a free turkey sub & free delivery on orders of $10 or more
- P.F. Changs: is offering $10 off for new diners through Grub Hub
- Red Lobster: free delivery on orders over $25
- White Castle: Get $4 off an order of $20 or $5 off orders of $30 or more in New York or New Jersey. (offer is good on ber Eats also)
Boston Market can get a free slider after 9 pm on Election Day. Options include a Chicken Cheddar, Turkey Cheddar, Chicken Chipotle or BBQ Meatloaf sliders.
Chili’s is offering the Presidente Margarita in-restaurant or To-Go for $5.

Krispy Kreme will give everyone that comes into a store on election day a receive free Original Glazed Doughnut.
McDonald’s will give you one of their new pastry items for free. McCafe choices are an apple fritter, a blueberry muffin or a cinnamon roll — free with a purchase of a hot or iced coffee on orders placed through their app. This offer is good November 3rd – 9th.
Sonic Drive-in: 50% off cheeseburgers from 5 pm to closing
Subway is offering a free sandwich when customers buy two.
Wendy’s is offering a free Classic Chicken Sandwich with any purchase through Nov. 8.
Pizza to the Polls: Pizza to the Polls is a non-profit group. They are delivering pizzas across the country and sending food trucks with snacks to lines in 25 cities. Uber Eats has partnered with the groups and says the food trucks will be giving out free Shake Shack, Milk Bar, and more. Cities include Phoenix, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago & more.
Lyft is offering 50% off one ride up to $10 to any polling location or dropbox. Customers just need to use the code 2020VOTE. Lyft also is including its network of bikes and scooters in select cities in this offer.
Uber is offering 50% off round trip rides to and from the polls with a value of up to $14 round trip.
Care.com – partnered with Armed Services YMCA for free childcare so parents can vote safely and without stress.
Scribd – create a Scribd account and receive 30 days of free access to millions of ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, podcasts and other materials on the platform.
