We are all looking forward to the day when cruises resume in 2021 and there are plenty of new ships to choose from if you are looking to try something new. Between ships that were ready in 2020 but were unable to sail, and those scheduled to complete construction next year, there are over a dozen new cruise ships that will make their debut in 2021.

Ship: Viking Venus
Date: January 2021
Viking Ocean Cruises boasts a fleet of new, all-veranda, state-of-the-art ocean ships. This 930 passengers ship will sail the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

Ship: Carnival Mardi Gras
Date: April 2021
The newest Carnival Cruises 2021 ship will accommodate 5282 passengers & will sail the Caribbean. This ship introduces Zones — six themed areas packed with brand-new experiences for eating, drinking and spectacularly getting down to fun. There’s BOLT, the first-ever rollercoaster at sea, Emeril’s Bistro 1396 from yes-that-EmerilFamily Feud Live for everybody… plus incredible new bars like The Brass Magnolia and Fortune Teller.

Ship: Odyssey of the Seas
Date: April 2021
Introducing the newest Royal Caribbean Cruises 2021 gamechanger, Odyssey of the Seas. Spring into action on Sky Pad, or soak up the sun at a newly designed resort-style pool deck that brings island vibes poolside. Ship: Valiant Lady
Date: May 2021
The Virgin Voyages cruise ship will be identical to the sister ship Scarlet Lady, and once completed will be 110,000 gross tons with a guest capacity of 2,770 along with 1,160 crew members. It will be an adult-only ship (18+)

Ship: Crystal Endeavor
Date: May 2021
Indulge in Crystal Cruise Lines legendary six-star service with one of the highest staff-to-guest ratios in the industry. A new all-suite, all-verandah comfort, a mere 200 guests will be hosted by Crystal’s award-winning staff, attentive butlers, and a team of expedition and destination. The ship will cruise Alaska, Caribbean, Northern & Western Europe, South America, Africa, Canada/New England, Panama Canal, Asia, and Antarctica.

Ship: Silver Dawn
Date: September 2021

Date: April 2021
With 4800 passengers. the ship will be sailing the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Middle East

Ship: Discovery Princess
Date: November 2021

Ship: Seabourn Venture
Date: December 2021
Seabourn Cruises ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ship Seabourn Venture, paying tribute to the remote destinations visited by the brand’s highly successful expedition and Ventures by Seabourn excursion programs and the fascinating places yet to be explored in the future. Seabourn Venture is scheduled to launch in December 2021, with a second yet-to-be-named sister ship slated to launch in 2022. A new and exciting offering will be two custom-built submarines carried onboard, providing an unforgettable view of the world beneath the ocean’s surface. The ships will also be designed to carry a complement of double sea kayaks, mountain bikes as well as 24 Zodiacs that can accommodate all onboard guests at once, which will allow for a truly immersive experience. Each ship will feature 132 all veranda, all ocean-front suites.

Ship: Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s Evrima
Date: April 2021
At just 298 passengers, will yacht will sail the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canada & New England, and the Caribbean.

Ship: Costa Toscana
Date: December 2021
With 6554 passengers will sail the Mediterranean and South America

Ship: Sea Cloud Spirit
Date: Spring 2021
The 138 metre-long three-master can accommodate up to 136 passengers and, like its two sister ships, occupies a special niche within the expanding cruise market
