American Cruise Lines
American Cruise Lines will venture into ports of call the company has never visited, as well as introduce 10 new itineraries.
The American Serenade will debut on the Mississippi River in April. The 175-passenger vessel is sister ship to the American Symphony.
The 109-passenger American Eagle and American Glory will sail the east Coast in August and October.
New destinations for 2023 include San Francisco, Sag Harbor, New York and Great Rivers of Florida and Key West, Florida.
The Company will launch its first cruise in California, an eight-day roundtrip San Francisco Bay Cruise, which will highlight Napa Valley’s wine country.
Another new destination will be a 15-day National Parks and Legendary Rivers itinerary, including an eight-day cruise on the Columbia and Snake Rivers and a seven-day exploration through Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. An eight-day cruise between Chattanooga and Nashville on the Tennessee Rivers will also be added to the new agenda.
Holland America Alaska Cruises for 2024
Holland America Cruise Line has scheduled a 28-day Arctic Circle cruise with 12 ports of call in Alaska for 2024. This is the most immersive ever offered in this region for Holland America’s Westerdam. The ship departs Seattle on June 9 and first calls in Anchorage for an overnight stay. Next will be Dutch Harbor, Haines (Skagway), Homer, Juneau, Ketchican, Kodiak, Nome, Seward, Sitka, Valdez and rangell. Scenic cruising includes Glacier Bay, Alaska’s Inside Passage, Tracy Arm, College Fjord, Little Diomede Island, Prince William Sound and Hubbard Glacier.
Two 14-day Alaska Cruises will start in Vancouver on the Nieuw Amsterdam and Noordam. The same ships will operate seven-day Glacier Discovery cruises between Whittier (Anchorage) and Vancouver.
Seven-day Alaska Inside Passage cruises will sail roundtrip from Vancouver on the Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam and Zaandam.
Seven-day Alaskan Explorer cruises sail roundtrip from Seattle aboard the Eurodam and Westerdam. Cruising in Alaska offers expanded onboard programming. Guests can engage with an Alaska naturalist and attend presentations that explore local topics such as Alaska’s bush pilots and the Iditarod race. National Park Rangers and local Huna Tlingit guides are featured on the Glacier Bay sailings.
MSC Cruise Lines new luxury brand
Explora Journeys has announced signature dishes from five restaurants aboard the Explora I.
Explora I, the 922-passenger vessel, is expected to sail its maiden cruise from Southampton on July 17, 2023. Eighteen food and beverage venues will be home to this brand new ship.
Sakura – a pan-Asian restaurant inspired by ancient tea rooms in Kyoto. The menus embrace Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and Malaysian cuisine. A sommelier will be on hand to advise on sake and shochu. wagyu beef Takaki will be presented in a signature dish.
The European steakhouse will be Marble & Co. Grill, featuring Dry Ager and a wine cellar, with grilled prime rib aged for 30 days.
The Med Yacht Club will offer regionally inspired dishes from Italy, Spain, Greece, France and North Africa.
The emporium Marketplace will feature cooking stations serving destination-inspired dishes like sushi, seafood, fine meats and pasta cooked to order.
Fil Rouge will serve bluefin tuna tataki with a French flare.
Anthology will be a culinary stage for guest chefs to curate their own menus.
The Explora I is the first of six ships expected by MSC.
Princess Cruises 2024 Europe Cruises
The Europe 2024 program includes 5 ships sailing on 162 departures of 85 itineraries.
The Sun Princess will kick off her season with a series of 10-day Grand Mediterranean and Western Grand Mediterranean sailings departing from Barcelona and Rome. She will then sail a 7-day series departing from Rome, Barcelona or Athens.
Island Princess will join Sun Princess sailing 10-day voyages throughout the Mediterranean and, later in the season, sail to the Holy Land on 10-day Mediterranean and Israel sailings.
Regal Princess will sail roundtrip from London on the 12-day British Isles voyage.
Sky Princess will homeport in London with voyages from 7 to 14 days featuring Iceland & Norway, the Canary Islands and a 31-day adventure to Canada and New England.
Caribbean Princess sails many voyages throughout Europe, including above the Arctic Circle on her Search for the Northern Lights voyage, sailing roundtrip from Southampton.
Sky Princess and Caribbean Princess will spend the Summer Soltice at the top of the world when the sun never sets on 14 or 16-day Land of the Midnight Sun & Summer Solstice voyages.
All five ships sail Spring and Fall Transatlantic for the ultimate voyage between Ft. Lauderdale, Galveston or New York and Barcelona, London or Rome.
