Azamara Cruises Changes It’s Name

1101

Azamara Cruises has a new name……..Azamara Club Cruises which matches their new image, not a Deluxe Cruise Line, but an “Upmarket” Cruise Line. It will no longer charge for specialty coffees, sodas, or bottled water. Wine will be included at lunch and dinner. Gratuities will be figured into the ticket price.  They plans to introduce new culinary programs and a Wines of the World which will spotlight wines from different countries each night.

And…..Azamara’s ships are going to slow down significantly to allow for longer stays in ports and more overnights in places like St. Petersburg, Istanbul. St. Tropez and Bangkok. New tours and unique shore excursions will be offered such as a Ferrari driving tou in Rome, a Croatian liquor tasting in Zadora and an Imperial Russian Court evening at Tsarskoye Selo in St. Petersburg.

It would appear that the name is not the only thing changing. Prices have increased over 20% in the past month.  In a year where travel is recovering, we don’t agree with cruise lines hiking prices. It will be interesting to see how clients respond.

With Azamara Club cruises, you can travel to the far reaches of the earth and explore a myriad of ports and cities that most can only dream of.  From French Polynesia to the warm waters off the islands of St. Barts, whatever your passion, let Azamara take you there in magnificent style.
