Carnival Dream Ship Review

The Carnival Dream has brought Carnival Cruise Line to a new level of “adulthood”.  While Carnval still offers amazing family fun, it now has something really special for Mom and Dad while the kids are in Camp Carnival.  The Sky Deck, Deck 15, is a blissfully quiet area called Serenity.  Great Name.  It is teak wood, padded chairs for two with a canopy to shield the sun and if one does get hot, it’s only one level down to the pool.   The pool, for the first time in Carnival history actually has umbrellas to give cover to those who don’t want that hot sun.  There has never been anywhere to hide before. Also a new addition would be the colorful plants hanging over the pool deck.

A miniature golf course has been added for all ages to enjoy on the same deck and of course the kids have the big pool with the giant slide.

Most of the other public rooms are similar to other new Carnival ships and are all inviting.  What I particularly liked was the lobby Atrium. It seemed wider and taller than the Conquest class ships (even thought it really isn’t) and was very enjoyable.  The colors are rather bright yellow (after all it IS Carnival) but it was cheery and at night, it’s sensational.

It’s a Dream of a ship!
