- The Dreamworks Experience – Royal Caribbean International and DreamWorks Animation® have partnered to bring characters from Shrek®, Madagascar®, Kung Fu Panda™ and more aboard ship. Activities include “Meet the Characters” tableside visits during character meals, 3D movies and aboard Allure of the Seas, a Dreamworks themed ice show and Aqua show. Already running aboard Allure of the Seas, the program joins Liberty of the Seas on January 30, 2011; Oasis of the Seas on February 26, 2011 and Freedom of the Seas on March 27, 2011.
- An Evening at Le Cirque – In the Pinnacle Grill restaurants aboard the Holland America Line fleet, you’ll be able to enjoy a recreation of the whimsical ambiance and award-winning dining of the legendary Le Cirque restaurants of New York, Las Vegas and the Dominican Republic.
- Royal Wedding Celebration – You can celebrate the historic union of the future King and Kate Middleton on April 29, 2011 while at sea. In the Royal Court Theatres aboard the ships of Cunard Line, the wedding ceremony will be broadcast live. The evening dinner will feature a commemorative menu and a champagne toast.
- Interactive Cooking Schools – Silversea features the Relais & Châteaux L’École des Chefs on select sailings throughout the year with cooking demonstrations, market tours, intimate cooking and lunching events and cooking competitions. Oceania’s new Marina will introduce the Bon Appétit Culinary Center with 24 individual cooking stations.
- Celebrity “Solsticizes” Infinity – When Celebrity Infinity emerges from drydock in December, she will be fitted with many of the features found aboard Celebrity’s newer Solstice class ships including new staterooms, dining venues and lounges.
- Enrichment Lectures – Celebrity Cruises is expanding its enrichment program to include Smithsonian Journeys speakers on a total of 99 cruises in six popular destinations.
- Recreational Activities – Aboard the new Marina you’ll find croquet, bocce ball, shuffleboard, 18-hole golf putting course, caged golf driving ranges and a paddle-tennis court. Tai chi and yoga will be amongst the many group and private classes available in the fitness center.
