The Great Barrier Reef is massive in length at 2,300 kilometers. This allows both scuba divers and snorkelers to see a lot of marine life. Divers can get an up close look at the reefs. For those that aren’t comfortable with scuba diving, snorkeling is a great options as they can still see the reef without having to go too far under the water. There are many shallow places along Australia to see the reef. For those that want to see some of the deeper sites they will have to go out by boat, which usually consist of a day trip.

Fraser Island 4wd Tour

This island is the largest sand island in the world. There’s freshwater lakes, a rainforest growing out of sand and 75 miles of silicone white beaches. Since there are no sealed roads only 4wd vehicles are allowed on the island. Visitors can see everything the island has to offer on a 4wd tour. They can check out the more than 350 species of birds, the amazing sand dunes and the beautiful Australian coast.

Ride Camel In Uluru At Sunrise Or Sunset

When you think of transportation in Australia, camels don’t often come to mind. However, they make an excellent choice of travel for those that want to see Ayers Rock, known as Uluru. Camel rides takes place anywhere from sunrise to sunset with an expert guide accompanying you on your journey. They will point out some of the ecology and wildlife in the area and share some of the area’s history.

Zipline In The Daintree Rainforest

This is the ultimate adventure for those in Australia. Participants can zip through the trees while enjoying some of the sights down below in the Daintree rainforest and nearby Daintree River. These day trips generally include a picnic lunch in the Daintree National Park and a visit to Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat.
