The Dead Sea Located Near Jordan, Israel and Palestine
This sea is 1,237 feet deep and is the world’s deepest hypersaline lake. It has 33.7% salinity and is known for it’s incredible healing properties, thanks to the amount of salt that is in the water.The high salinity of the sea allows swimmers to have a natural buoyancy and easily float in it. Because it’s about 8.6 times saltier than any ocean in the world, animals aren’t able to live in it. This includes both plants and fish.

The Great Barrier Reef In Australia
This reef is considered to be the world’s largest living organism. It’s 1,616 miles large and is a habitat for a variety of aquatic life. It’s suspected that billions of different organisms live within the reef. It’s made up of 900 islands and more than 3,000 reefs. The reef is known for its distinct green blue color that is caused by the algae that grows on it.

The Grand Canyon In Arizona
This may be one of the world’s oldest natural wonders. Millions of tourists visit the Grand Canyon each year to explore, go on a hike, camp or go horseback riding. The canyon can be as deep as more than a mile down in some parts of it. Overall the Grand Canyon is 277 miles long and 18 miles at it’s widest point.

The Columbian Ice Fields In The Canadian Rockies
Eight major glaciers are located here. At 125 square miles in area, this massive natural wonder is located in parts of both Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. The icefields can be seen from Icefields Parkway and it is a popular spot for ski mountaineering during the winter.
