The World’s Largest Cruise Night is almost here.  This year, on October 13, 2010, the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA,) member cruise lines and travel agent partners all comes together each year for the single biggest cruise promotion of the year.

Cruise lines run specials often, but this is one of the few times that you can count on virutally ALL of the cruise lines having special deals.  Offers may include reduced deposits, ship board credits or dollars off.  When booking in advance, most of the time your cruise deposit is completely refundable, so why not take advantage of the sale?

Here’s a sampling of special offers and incentives cruise lines have already announced.  Make sure an stayed tuned for other offers as the date approaches.

• AmaWaterways is featuring two-for-one pricing, savings of up to $2,000 per stateroom, free upgrades and shipboard credits of up to $200 on select November and December departures.

• American Cruise Lines is offering a $500-per-stateroom savings on March 2011 departures on new bookings made Oct. 1-31 and is not combinable with other offers.

• Travelers can save $2,000 per stateroom on select 2011 European river cruises with Avalon Waterways through Nov. 30.

• Carnival Cruise Lines is offering upgrades on virtually all departures through December 2011. Carnival will not only offer best available upgrades, but up to a $200 onboard credit per stateroom for all Carnival Magic Europe voyages booked on Oct. 13. The WLCN best available upgrade offer applies to new individual bookings. The Carnival Magic Europe offer includes best available upgrades and a $100 onboard credit per stateroom for seven-day Europe sailings and a $200 onboard credit per stateroom for 9 and 12-day sailings.

• Celebrity Cruises is hosting a three-day sale beginning Oct. 13 for departures April through December 2011, for select 7 to 14 night sailings featuring onboard credits of $50 per stateroom for ocean-view accommodations, $100 per stateroom for veranda accommodations, and $150 per stateroom for AquaClass (only on Solstice-class ships), suites, and Concierge Class. The offer applies to new FIT bookings. Certain restrictions apply.

• Crystal Cruises is offering a $100-per-person additional savings incentive on most 2010-11 departures for new bookings made Oct. 1 to 31. The offer is combinable with 2 for 1 fares and Crystal Society Savings and is only applicable to the first and second guest in each stateroom.

• Cunard Cruises is offering an onboard credit per stateroom of up to $300 for Queens & Princess Grill accommodations, up to $200 for balcony staterooms, and up to $100 for ocean-view and inside staterooms, depending on length of voyage.

• Holland America Line is announcing cruise value fares through “Three-Day Sale” for cruises to the Panama Canal, Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Alaska, South America and holiday destinations. Travelers will also receive On-Board Value Booklet worth hundreds of dollars off shipboard services.

• Oceania Cruises is offering 2 for 1 cruise fares, plus free roundtrip air and bonus savings up to $1,000 per stateroom.

• Regent Seven Seas Cruises is offering a $100-per-person shipboard credit on new reservations on 2010 or 2011 departures of seven nights or longer booked between Oct. 1 and Nov. 15. The offer is combinable with all standard offers including two-for-one fares plus additional bonus savings, free roundtrip air, and free unlimited shore excursions.

• Royal Caribbean International plans to announce an offer shortly.

• Seabourn Cruise Line is offering a $100 bonus commission on any new bookings Oct. 1 to 31 when an agent calls in and mentions the WLCN promotion.

• Silversea Cruises is offering savings of $100 per guest for a maximum of $200 per suite on any 2010, 2011 or 2012 cruise booked during October.

• Uniworld River Cruises is offering a $100-per-person bonus savings for all 2011 product and departures on bookings made in conjunction with WLCN. This savings is combinable with all current savings offers and is applicable for bookings made Oct. 13-20.

• Windstar Cruises offers a $100-per-person shipboard credit on any sailings in the Caribbean or Costa Rica between Jan. 2 and April 2. The offer is valid for new bookings made Oct. 13-Nov. 15 and the credits may be combined with all nationwide offers including two-for-one offers.
