Crystal Cruises – Coronavirus Prompts Cancellation Of All 2020 Cruises

1631

The constantly changing variables related to Covid-19, coupled with differing restrictions for international travel, continue to affect when cruise lines can begin to sail again. Crystal Cruise Line has made the decision to cancel all remaining cruises for 2020. “The uncertainty surrounding this global health crisis hinders the ability for all cruise lines to operate, and it is with deep regret that we have had to cancel all Ocean voyages (aboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity) and Yacht voyages (aboard Crystal Esprit) through the remainder of 2020. Everyone at Crystal, along with the officers and crew of our ships fleetwide, are extremely disappointed that we were compelled to take this action as we were looking forward to exploring together.”

Crystal Cruises 2021, 2022, and 2023 rates are available and some cruises are close to being sold out, which shows travelers are eager to return to cruising. Guests that were paid in full will receive cruise credits equal to 125% of the cruise fare, and a refund of port charges, taxes & fees. For guests who were not paid in full, the credit will be based on the deposit amount. Credit are good through December 31, 2023.

The Crystal Cruises team has been developing new procedures and policies that will support all public health and regulatory requirements and to ensure guests’ vacations continue to be not only relaxing and pleasurable but safe and healthy. Here is information on the recently launched Crystal Clean+® 2.0 – an enhanced level of measures to help safeguard the well-being of guests and crew.

Crystal River Cruises are also being canceled for the rest of 2020. This includes the Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy, Crystal Mahler, and Crystal Ravel through the remainder of 2020. Travelers have the option to move their river cruise to the same time next year and 2020 rates will be honored. Guests can also transfer their reservation to any Crystal ocean, river, yacht or expedition embarking through December 31, 2023 at prevailing rates. If no option is taking by August 14, 2020, Crystal will automatically issue a Future Credit, equal to 100% of the cruise fare paid, valid on any Crystal experience (Ocean, River, Yacht or Expedition) embarking through December 31, 2023 – along with a refund of port charges, taxes and fees paid, and any air and hotel packages booked through Crystal.
