Oceania Cruises is offering Insignia’s 40-day February 22, 2010 Grand Circle of South America cruise in two segments. While the cruise can still be booked as a complete 40-day cruise, they anticipate that most sales to come from the purchase of one of the segments.
The 40-day Buenos Aries to Rio de Janeiro cruise is being split into a 13-day Buenos Aries to Valparaiso segment departing February 22, 2010 called Patagonian Discoveries and a 27-day Valparaiso to Rio de Janeiro segment departing March 7, 2010 called Temples and Treasures. All ports of call in each segment are the same as the original day-by-day breakdown for the entire 40-day cruise; there have been no modifications. The port call at Valparaiso on the 40-day cruise will also serve as the turnaround port for those guests purchasing one of the two segments.
