The New Seabourn Encore Cruise Ship just launched in December of 2016. During its maiden season it will spend time in many places including Australia, India, Mediterranean, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Some of the key aspects to this ship are the exceptional service to passengers and the high ratio of per passenger space. Here are some of the details about this new ship.

Cabins
This ship features 300 cabins. Each one has a private balcony that is anywhere from 74 to 200 square feet. Suites sizes vary 300 square feet to 1,300 square feet. Each cabin is tastefully designed with a nautical theme and mahogany wood. Bathrooms are all marble and have both a tub and a shower. Passengers can enjoy things like a seating area in their rooms, walk in closets and an in-suite bar. Suite stewardesses are available to take care of each guests needs. They can provide fresh towels or cold drinks or even draw a bath. For those with a penthouse suite they can enjoy a living room space. The Owner’s Suite has a dining room table and an additional half bath. The Signature Suite has both a pantry, a wet bar and a whirlpool bath. The Wintergarden Suite has a glass enclosed solarium.

Dining
There are a variety of dining options on the Encore. The Restaurant will be the main sit down option just like the Odyssey class ships. In addition to this restaurant and other signature Seabourn restaurants like the Patio Grille and Colonnade, there is also The Grill. It features items inspired by acclaimed chef Thomas Keller and has chophouse fare. The restaurant first debuted on the Seabourn Quest. It has the capacity for indoor or outdoor seating and can accommodate close to 100 dinners. Another popular restaurant is Restaurant 2 which features sushi.

Entertainment
There are many entertainment options for passengers to enjoy. The Grand Salon has cabaret style seating and has a variety of shows, demos, speakers and other acts. They debuted the show “An Evening with Tim Rice” which features concert style performances. For those that are looking for a laid back place to enjoy music, have a drink or do some dancing, The Club on deck 5 will not disappoint. Not only can you get a handcrafted drink here, but do a little bit of gambling in the casino as well. Just outside of it guests can go to the Club Terrace to enjoy one of two whirlpools or take a dip in the plunge pool.

Other Activities
The ship has a variety of other activities to keep passengers busy. There is complimentary yoga and meditation, classes on mindful living and a water sports marina where guests can use pedal boats, windsurfers or kayaks for free. One of the most talked about parts of this ship is The Retreat, which is located on the top deck. This covered area features 15 cabanas that can each be rented for $350 per day, a bar, food and beverage service and a spa cabana.
