Princess Cruises Cancels Worldwide Sailings Through December 15th

Princess Cruises announced today that they are suspending all cruises through December 15th, 2020. “As we – and the world – continue to tackle the impact of COVID-19, we have extended our pause of global ship operations and have cancelled the additional voyages through December 15, 2020.”

If your reservation is paid in full, Princess is willing to offer a future cruise credit in the amount of 125% of the value of the cruise or cruisetour you were booking on. The Princess future cruise credit would need to be used on a cruise prior to May 1, 2022. No action is required if you are willing to accept the future cruise credit.

If you prefer a refund, you or your travel agent must request the funds prior to August 31, 2020.

If you reservation was only under deposit and not paid in full, Princess Cruises is offering double the deposit amount you had on your booking if you accept a future cruise credit. The matching bonus FCC will not exceed the base cruise fare amount of the current cruise and will have a minimum value of $100 per person.

You can of course also request a refund, again if you put the request in prior to August 31, 2020.

In both cases, any money for taxes, fees, port charges, airfare, shore excursions or hotel packages will be refunded or can be transferred to a new booking if you are ready to select a new sailing.

Please note that refunds can take 60 to 90 days.
