The newest ship from Royal Caribbean is right around the corner and we made a little comprehensive list of the ABCs of Quantum of the Seas.

A is for Adult’s Only Solarium: The Solarium is essentially a glass enclosed room filled with pools, hot tubs and canopies. For those adults really trying to relax, the solarium will also offer light cocktails and small foods. Placed at the very front of the ship, the Solarium will be a relaxing bubble with an incredible view.

B is for Bionic Bar: The future has arrived, but don’t worry plenty of humans still mixing drinks on this ship. There is one bar however that is made of two robots, knowing exactly how much liquor, mixers and extras to add to your drink that you order through tablets surrounding the bar! The liquor bottles hang above the bar and the ice and soda mixers are on the back wall. Be sure to tip your server!

C is for Cabaret- Wink: Leave all your inhibitions in your cabin for this adult only original show from Royal. Combining cabaret performances, a nightlife atmosphere and lots of booze to go around, this show will be sure to bring out the devilish side in you.

D is for DreamWorks Experience: This one is for the young and the young at heart! Meet all your favorite characters from DreamWorks animation including characters from Shrek, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda. Also on select ships and dates will be screenings of different DreamWorks movies, including their newest, How to Train Your Dragon 2!

E is for Easy Boarding: Ever made it from sidewalk to ship in 10 minutes? How about order room service off of a tablet? Well now you can. With easy boarding you check in beforehand. When you arrive you receive a wristband that you can wear for the duration of your cruise. This wristband serves as your ticket, room key and connects to whatever card you have on file so you don’t ever have to carry anything around again! …Except for that drink.

F is for Flow Rider: A man made surfing experience for any age. Test your balance and boarding skills and you don’t even have to leave the ship. Just as intense as surfing the real waves in the ocean without the dangers or the salt!

G is for Game Changing Technology: Take a trip to the many consoles aboard Quantum of the Seas in the Xbox One Lounge. Play the newest video games with the most amazing, technologically advanced graphics in the world. Play by yourself, with friends, or online in the most immersive gaming experience aboard any ship.

H is for Hoops Court: Bring out your inner Shane Battier or Chris Andersen in this indoor amenity. Don’t know who they are? Sorry I’m a Heat Fan. Bring out your inner Michael Jordan or LeBron James in the indoor, transformable Basketball Court, only aboard Quantum of the Seas.

I is for Incredible Itineraries: Ranging from 7-12 night Bahamas and Caribbean cruises. The Quantum will set sail only to premiere travel destinations. It will make its inaugural transatlantic journey from Southampton to the United States.

J is for Jamie Oliver’s Restaurant: Jamie Oliver’s is a premiere Italian Dining Restaurant that is now available by way of the water. Enjoy amazing, real, fresh ingredients in a special Italian flavor like none other that you have tried.

K is for Kristin Chenoweth: Best known for her endeavors on Broadway, most specifically in the world- renowned “Wicked: The Musical”, Kristin Chenoweth has been named the Godmother for the Quantum of the Seas.

L is for Loft Suites: Ranging from 690- 890 sq. ft. the Loft Suites aboard Quantum are the best for the buck. Incredible living arrangements with one or two stories and balconies are the most luxurious rooms you can ask for.

M is for Music Hall: Enjoy the Wink: Cabaret, Mamma Mia After Party and Tribute in the ship’s Music Hall. Recreating an old style dance and performance hall with a bar, this venue is sure to entertain guest from young to young at heart!

N is for North Star: North Star is an extendable arm that will hang cruisers in a glass pod that will take them over the open waters, giving them an incredible aerial view never before seen on a ship before.

O is for Outdoor Movie Screen: Why not take a dip in the pool, or lounge poolside while watching your favorite hits from the movies. Now you can on Quantum;s 220 Square Foot Movie Screen!

P is for Passenger Capacity: 4,180 is the Magic Number. That’s how many guests the Quantum of the Seas will be able to carry. Whether you’re cruising alone or in a group you can be sure you’ll stroll along and be able to meet a few new people, if you’d like.

Q is for Quantum Leap Forward: This is the next generation of cruising. Finally with all the available technology, and people being so socially active, everyone finally gets to take part in the social aspect of cruising. This is the Quantum Leap in the future development in cruising.

R is for Ripcord by iFly: Ripcord is the indoor skydiving experience aboard the ship. Never before has any ship ever come close to something like this. It sounds like an extreme ride at Disney. Not like something aboard a cruise ship. But it’s real and it’s here. The future is now!

S is for Seaplex: The Seaplex is one of the most unique features on the ship. It is a big room that transforms into a couple different venues. It is a basketball court, Bumper Car Derby and Roller Disco, ALL IN ONE!

T is for Two70: Two70 is a dining room with a 270 degree panoramic view at night and a transformative artistic experience at night. Panels on the wall fill the windows while projector screens fill the panels and take you to all different parts of the world. All of this with a magical performance is just another reason this ship really does WOW.

U is for Ultimate Technology: A new technology will beam down a broadband signal to the ship, making the Internet accessible from anywhere onboard. Rumors are that every single person on the ship could be watching Netflix simultaneously without any kind of lag.

V is for Virtual Balconies: All indoor staterooms will have virtual balconies. These screens will receive a live feed from a camera placed on the ship, so you will always be able to see what is happening outside. If it’s sunny, you see sun. If it’s rainy you see rain. An incredible substitute for a balcony for those trying to save some bucks.

W is for Wonderland: Wonderland is the “Alice in Wonderland” themed restaurant. The menu consists of different elements. You choose which one is the right one for you and see just how deep the rabbit hole really goes.

X is for X-Cursions: Just like many other ships, the Quantum offers offshore excursions that you and your friends and family can take. The only thing about these excursions are that Quantum, once again, takes it to the next level.

Y is for Youth Activities: Youth Programs will be available on the ship. From gaming to swimming activities to youth excursions, there is always something to do for the kids especially if Mom and Dad want a relaxing break.

Z is for Z’s: All cabins will be roomy and equipped with brand new linens from top of the line quality brands. Whether you’re staying in a deluxe loft or an indoor cabin, all rooms will be comfortable where technically; you don’t ever have to leave the room.
