Start saving up some of your pennies. In 2018 Norwegian will be offering a 137-night cruise where visitors can visit 28 countries and 64 ports of call.

As you can imagine, this trip is pricey with fares around $59,999 a person. However, if you have always dreamed of spending nearly half a year cruising around the world, then this is definitely the trip for you.

Stops

The journey will begin and end in Los Angeles for a total of 38,528 nautical miles. Destinations will span across five continents which are located in the southern hemisphere. These include Hawaii, Fiji, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, Argentina, Curacao, Nicaragua and Guatemala. The ship will depart on January 18, 2018 and return to Los Angeles on May 25, 2018.

The Ship

Travelers will be sailing on the Seven Seas Navigator. This 490 passenger ship just underwent a major overhaul. This includes

-Revamped dining venues; La Veranda and Compass Rose

-A more sophisticated library

-The new addition; Coffee Connection

-New furnishings, artwork, linens and mattresses in cabins

While onboard guests can also enjoy free laundry service, satellite phone use and a lot of free shore excursions once at their destination. With a space per passenger ratio of 67.3 feet of public space, you won’t have to worry about feeling cramped while being onboard the ship either. With so few passengers and so many staff members, guests will feel as if service is really catered towards their needs.

Activities

So are you wondering what there is to do on the ship? Even though passengers will be going to a lot of destinations, they will also be spending a lot of time on this ship. Because of this, there’s a ton to do. The musical “Broadway: Starting Here, Starting Now” and “Great American Song Factory” will be custom designed, upbeat and highly entertaining. There will also be quite a few entertainers offering shows on each cruise. The ship will have plenty of places to grab a cocktail and relax like the Navigator Lounge, Galileo’s and the Star Lounge. If you are looking to try your luck, there will be a casino, located on Deck 7. For those looking for a quieter spot there is a card room and library located on Deck 6. If you are worried about staying fit, there’s plenty of activities just for you. The gym onboard is fairly large and has an aerobic and yoga room. There’s a full time fitness instructor on staff that will be offering a variety of classes each day. There is a saltwater swimming pool located on Deck 10 as well as two hot tubs.

This cruise will certainly be an adventure. If 137-night cruises are not your thing, you can always opt for a 3,4 or even 7-night cruise.
