Windstar cruises offers a unique, intimate way of cruising with only 148-312 guests. With a fleet of 3 sailing vessels, Windstar Cruises does the sailing for you. Enjoy the luxury on-board product and superb signature cuisine, yet with a casual, intimate ambiance and dress code. In keeping with the ship ambiance, Windstar guests leave their ties and formal wear at home. By day, shorts and light shirts are the norm. For dinner and later in the evening, women typically wear casual sun dresses or pant suits, and men can be found in a pair of light-weight slacks and a polo or button-up shirt. Dinner is served with one open seating.

Windstar Cruises is introducing 4 new itineraries for 2012.  The first is called Island of Italy.  This 7 day itinerary is perfect for someone who has visited Italy before or someone who wants to experience the unspoiled, intimate islands popular with Italian locals.  The cruise departs from Rome and visits Ischia, Sorrento, Lipari, Stromboli, Porto Cervo and Porto Vecchio.  This will be offered 4 times in 2012 onboard the Wind Spirit, Wind Star and Wind Surf.

Also new is Flavors of the Caribbean.  Your Windstar cruise begins in St. Maarten and visits Le Marin (in Martinique,) Pigeon Island (St. Lucia,) Roseau, Falmouth Harbor (Antigua,) and Gustavia (St. Barts.)  The Wind Surf will sailing this itinerary from January through March 2012.

Capitals of Scandinavia is a 7 day cruise from Oslo ro Stockholm, visiting Stromstad, Copenhagen, Rugen and Bornholm.  This cruise is only available twice in 2012 onboard the Wind Surf in July and August.

Greek Isles and the Mysteries of Malta will sail 7 days from Athens to Valletta visiting Gythion, Argostoli, Butrint National Park, Siracusa and Gozo. The Wind Spirit will sail this itinerary 6 times in 2012 between June and October.
