Hottest Trends in Girls Getaways

What’s better than hanging out with a bunch of your friends to enjoy the perfect getaway? You don’t just have to go to the typical spa in order to have a good time. These are the hottest trends in girls getaways for 2019.

Scuba Diving Experiences
Some women want to experience the outdoors, but incorporate water into it somehow. There are some scuba diving experiences that are tailored just towards these types of travelers. Scuba diving experiences involve visiting a place like Mexico and staying at an all inclusive resort where scuba diving activities are the focus. They also tend to have other group activities like kayaking or horseback riding. If you are interested in this experience, but you and your girlfriends aren’t certified to scuba dive, some of these camps will incorporate certification into the experience as well.

Culinary Vacations
One of the fastest growing trends in girls getaways involves food. Not just eating it, but making it as well. Culinary vacations involve going to a certain destination and taking culinary classes to learn how to make different dishes. One of the nice things about these types of vacations is that not only can you spend time with your favorite friends, but will go home knowing how to make a few new dishes for your family.

Destination Inspired Racing
If you and your friends are runners then this type of girls getaway may be just right for you. Destination inspired racing involves finding a race that you all want to participate in and traveling to that location to enjoy a vacation and the competition of the race. If you have your heart set on a particular destination, you can also look to see if any races will be held there before making your travel plans.

Glamping
Glamping, or glamorous clamping, has been one of the hottest trends in girls getaways for a while now. Basically it involves camping without having to leave behind any of the comforts of home. You won’t have to deal with staying in a hot tent and eating hot dogs on a campfire. You and your girlfriends can stay in rather posh accommodations like cabins with modern technology or even yurt. Activities tend to involve wine tastings, spa experiences or even day shopping trips at nearby boutiques. Glamping allows you to camp and enjoy the outdoors without all of the inconveniences or work that’s involved with typical camping experiences.
