Travelers who are planning to visit Orlando, Florida, on their next North American vacation may want to check out the iconic Universal Parks and Resorts. One of the most popular attractions in the theme park is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Although it has only been open for less than a year, it has increased Universal’s admissions by 20 percent compared to 2009, according to CNN.
Fans of the series will have a blast in the innovative and exciting park, as it offers several interactive rides and tours. Guests can explore a phenomenal castle and roam through Hogwarts, the school where Harry Potter and his friends learn to become wizards.
Another popular tour and ride visitors may want to check out is “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.” Tourists will walk around Headmaster Dumbledore’s office and several other locations that are part of the Potter world. At the end of the excursion, visitors will come to an adrenaline-pumping ride. The attraction uses high-tech equipment to make guests feel as if they are flying and battling monsters found in the series, such as the Dementors.
