Atlantis Paradise Island’s New Kids Adventure Program

1081

Atlantis recently opened an 8,000 square foot area designed for children ages 3 to 12.  What’s interesting, is the kids get to choose their own activities from a menu of options.  There are two  culinary programs, a lego construction area, wizardology, a performance room and more.  There are also plenty of iMac computers, touch screen walls, an arts and crafts room and video games.

Morning & afternoon adventures:  Kids 3-5 will become detectives, pirates and wizards and enjoy splashing in the sun. Kids 6-12 will experience beach & backyard blasts, being on the cover of a magazine, interactive games, stage performances or joining a three ring circus.

Evening adventures:  Kids 3-12 can take on a challenge, join in a candy carnival, buccaneer’s bash or a sleepless slumber party! Each night features a new adventure that will leave you wanting more!

The culinary classes are for 6 to 12 year olds.  During the 3 hour class you can create dishes such as an exotic candy ocean, pizza painting and hand folded pretzels.

There will be special LEGO Fantasy Camps held July 12-16; July 19-23 & July 26-30th

We’re excited about the program, however the resort rates are not the cheapest around and rather than include the program in the rates, there is a charge.  Morning and afternoon adventures are $45 (per 4 hour program) evening rates from 6:30 to 10:30 are $60 – to add in lunch or dinner is an additional $15 per child.  The afternoon culinary adventure (2 hours,) is $45 pp and the ultimate culinary adventure for 3 hours is $65 per child.

If you are spending a week at the resort and your child wants to participate in 1/2 day programs each day, that’s an extra $270 (or $360 with meals.) Would you be willing to pay the additional money?
