Hey Toy Story Fans, there’s a new land coming to Disney Hollywood Studios. On June 30, 2018 you will be able to enjoy the new Toy Story Land with a variety of different rides, and of course, many of your favorite characters from the different Toy Story movies. With fans eagerly awaiting the arrival of Toy Story 4, which is due out in theaters sometime in 2019, the new Toy Story Land will help tide them over until it comes out. Here’s what you can expect.
The Experience Will Be Memorable
While in Toy Story Land, guests will “shrink” to the size of a toy. They will then go to Andy’s backyard and get to go on a variety of rides like “Mega Coaster” that was made by Andy, “Slinky Dog Dash” or “Alien Swirling Saucers”. Each ride has been specifically designed to make guests feel like they have stepped into a scene from Toy Story. In addition to this there will be a new carnival game box that guests can walk through called “Toy Story Mania!”. It has been a population attraction since it opened back in 2008, but this new expanded version will offer a third track which will allow less wait time and more fun. Toy Story fans will also be delighted to see certain features like “The Claw” hanging overhead or aliens flying green saucers.
What To Eat
There are many different dining options to choose from at Hollywood Studios, but guests won’t have to leave Toy Story Land to eat as it will have its own restaurant. As you can guess, even the food will have a Toy Story theme as diners will get to go to “Woody’s Lunch Box”. They will be able to enjoy a variety of meals, with many of them being kid-friendly, in addition to soda floats. It will have walk-up window setting.
One of the fun parts about Toy Story land is all the attention to detail that’s going into it. Throughout it there will be a lot memorabilia inspired by the Toy Story movies. This includes Tinker Toys, Green Army Men and Rubik’s Cubes. Both children and adults will be able to appreciate all of the attention to detail that is going into making the new Toy Story land. Ticket prices for Hollywood Studios are currently $122 for adults on peak days and $116 for children.
