Harvest parties are a beloved tradition in Napa. They celebrate the fruits of their labor: grapes! At these festivals you will find music, food and of course, wine.

  • Sattui Winery Harvest Ball, September 17

This is one of the classiest events on the list. Guests can tour the winery when they arrive and then enjoy a sit down dinner. Chef Marco Mori will be on hand to prepare a multi-course meal that includes plenty of wine on hand. A Neil Diamond tribute band, Super Diamond will be playing music throughout the meal. Afterwards a dance party show will be performed by Club 90. This event is a mix of high energy in a more formal atmosphere. Tickets are $225 for member and $250 for nonmembers.

  • X2 Release Harvest Celebration, Paraduxx Winery, October 1

Attendees of this party can taste the new release of the 2013 Paraduxx X2 Napa Valley Red Wine. The afternoon starts with live music, barbeque bites and a variety of wine. There’s also a barrel tasting with Don LaBorde and a bottle signing as well. A favorite among visitors is the lively grape stomping that will be taking place. Tickets for this event range from $75-$115.

  • Viader Vineyards & Winery: Harvest Party, October 15

This midday celebration is geared towards it’s Wine Club members, although visitors are welcome to join in. Participants can taste currently released wines and enjoy pizza from the wood-burning oven. Tickets are $75 for the general public. Wine Club members will receive 2 complimentary tickets.

  • Charbay Winery & Distilery’s “Lighting of the Still”, October 22

This is a rather intimate celebration that will mark Charbay Winery & Distillery’s 33rd distilling season. Its starts off with the lighting of the alembic pot. Guests can enjoy not only some of the winery’s signature wines, but dessert wines and aperitifs as well. Out on the patio there will also be a Cuban master to roll made to order cigars to pair with the wine. Tickets are $65 per person for the general public and $55 for those that are club members.

  • Cornerstone Cellars Harvest Party, October 23

Come on out to this afternoon harvest party to experience a wide variety of food and wine. Guests can enjoy pizza that’s cooked on a 1946 International harvester. It will be paired with some of Cornerstone’s classic wines. Guests can also enjoy music and dancing. Ticket prices are not yet available.
