Mayor’s Annual Christmas Parade in Baltimore
This 2 ½ mile long parade has everything from elves to motorcycles. The marching band from the Baltimore Ravens also makes an appearance. In addition to the many floats, The Grinch will be stopping by to try to stop the festivities. Don’t worry though because it’s all in good fun.

Target Holidazzle in Minneapolis
This parade started in 1992 and approximately 300,000 people are in attendance each year. What makes this parade so popular is the special effects. The Target Holidazzle parade is one of the most hi-tech Christmas parades in the U.S.

Hollywood Christmas Parade
The floats in this parade are amazing, but the main spectacle is the many celebrities that attend it. The parade route is two miles long and starts at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Each year more than 1 million people are in attendance. It is free to attend, but in order to get the best spot, tickets for grandstand seating are highly recommended.

Festival of Lights In Honolulu
Hawaiians do Christmas parades a little bit differently. Their Christmas parade doesn’t occur on land, but in water. Once a year for the past 20 years the Hawaii Kai Marina waterway gets filled with boats that are decorated with thousands of Christmas lights as well as an abundance of decorations. The Festival of Lights parade is looked forward to each December by tourists and locals alike.

Miracles Christmas Parade in Lubbock
Around 30,000 people attend this annual parade that benefits Toys For Tots. What makes this parade so unique is that not only are their floats, but antique cars and tractors as well. During the Miracles Christmas Parade, individuals walk down the parade route collecting toys.

If you’re favorite parade didn’t make the list, don’t worry because we couldn’t include them all. If you are planning to attend any parades during this holiday season don’t forget to arrive early in order to get a good spot and bring a few snacks along with you as you might have to wait awhile for the parade to start.
