In Mexico’s Riviera Maya, the Palafitos at El Dorado Maroma offers a king size bed, a private balcony or terrace, a private pool and indoor hot tub and marble-top bathroom sinks. The Elite Overwater Bungalows are located at the end of the pier. The Naay Spa is inspired by Mayan traditions and modern techniques. Combine the benefits of traditional Mexican herbal remedies with aromatherapy and massage to experience the Holistic Treatment. The bungalows have an infinity pool and unobstructed views of the ocean, glass-bottom floors and a dedicated butler. In Playa Del Carmen, Rosewood Maykoba offers 18 overwater bungalows. For something “Exotic” Belize has a selection of over-water bungalows. Cayo Espanto is a private island resort near San Pedro. It is accessed by a local flight to San Pedro, followed by a seven-minute boat ride or helicopter transport directly to the island. Each villa includes a private dock, a butler, personalized meals hand-crafted by the on-island chef, motorized water sports and more.
Viceroy Bocas Del Toro in Panama are not set to open until 2023. Located on the crystal-blue Caribbean in an archipelago of rainforest islands, just a short flight from Panama City.
