One of the biggest questions many of us have all year is do we go out or stay home for New Year’s Eve. There’s a lot to be said for going out and ringing in the New Year. Although, staying at home and starting 2018 by just relaxing can be great too. In order to decide what you should do and where you should go, if you do go out, ask yourself these questions.

Do You Like Crowds?

No matter where you go on New Year’s Eve you are bound to find a lot of crowds. If you don’t like to be around a lot of people, this can be a problem. You are better off staying home and perhaps inviting a few people over if you don’t want to spend your evening alone.

Can You Actually Stay Up?

Even if you are a night person, it can be pretty difficult to stay up until midnight. You don’t really want to be out and about falling asleep on yourself trying to staying up until midnight. While you can have a cup of coffee to get the aid of some caffeine to stay awake, if you aren’t much of a coffee drinker it might be a good idea to ring in the New Year from your bed.

Let’s face it, New Year’s Eve can get wild. You really need to be prepared for the unexpected if you do plan to go out. Do you like surprises and people doing things that you never would expect?
