Springtime is the universal season for revitalization. Who says you need to be an exception? Retreat, renew, rejuvenate…rejoice in these resorts.

Spice Island Beach Resort, Grand Anse Beach, Grenada
This five-acre resort is the perfect getaway for those that want to feel rejuvenated. The property is surrounded by sea grape, almond and lemon trees. There are plenty of hammocks and chaise lounge chairs to relax in. At the spa you can find a variety of services like massages and body polishes. One popular treatment is the Aromatherapy Massage. Guests choose several different essential oils and a massage therapist rubs them into the skin during the massage to provide a very relaxing experience. The Enzymatic Sea Mud Wrap is another treatment that not only relaxes the body, but purifies and detoxifies it as well. Guests will be wrapped in a sort of seaweed cocoon that is infused with fruit enzymes and botanical extracts.

Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort
This resort can be reached from La Fortuna and is a popular place to visit for those that have visited Arenal Volcano National Park. The hot springs have a desirable temperature, which can be hard to find in other naturally occurring hot springs. They also have a low sulfur content so there isn’t a strong odor. For those that want to partake in more than just the hot springs, there are several treatments to choose from. One of these is a Volcanic Body Wrap. Guests will visit an open-air bungalow where they can hear not only the nearby water, but the relaxing sounds of nature. Mud is then rubbed on their skin and a soft blanket is wrapped around them. After they are done relaxing for a bit, the guest is led to a heated stream where they can rinse off.

The BodyHoliday LeSport, Cariblue Beach, St. Lucia
This retreat is fairly isolated and can be difficult to reach. However, it is worth it with all of the services that they offer. The more popular services include facials and massages. Guests tend to enjoy the hydrotherapy treatments as well. When they are done they can lounge by the reflection pool or visit the meditation area. Even though this resort is secluded, there’s plenty to do besides the spa. Scuba diving and snorkeling are quite popular here.

Rosewood Mayakoba, Riviera Maya, Mexico
This is a great place to visit for those that want to be totally immersed in a mind, body and soul experience. The Riviera Maya is absolutely beautiful with its Yucatan limestone and the outdoor atmosphere really adds to the overall experience. It’s located on its own private island so you can rest assured that you will be secluded and will really get the chance to relax. Guests can enjoy the heated plunge pool and outdoor deck. Stone massages and salt and body scrubs are some of the most popular treatments here. The spa is rather large at 17,000 square feet. In addition to treatments, guests can also enjoy the saunas and steam grottos.

Parrot Cay & COMO Shambhala Retreat Turks & Caicos
This spa is so relaxing that it won Conde Nast Traveler’s pick for the most tranquil spa for 2016. Located in northeast Provo on a private island, guests can choose from quite a few customized packages. There are 72 different guest rooms, each with plenty of natural light to promote a calming atmosphere as well as verandahs for relaxing. Private yoga classes are popular among guests. They can also take part in a variety of massages or set out on their own private kayak experience.
