After 4 long years in high school or even college, it’s time to graduate. Before entering out in the real world it just might be time to set off on a celebratory trip. There’s so many options out there? Where should you go? The following destinations are perfect choices for graduates.
Southeast Asia
This area is a treasure trove of things to do. Airfare can be pricey, but everything from accommodations, food and excursions tend to be fairly reasonable. There’s also a lot to do in Southeast Asia including the bustling nightlife, exotic cities and beautiful beaches.
Nicaragua
There are many reasons why you should visit Nicaragua. For one, it’s relatively inexpensive which is a major plus for recent graduates that don’t have a lot of money. It’s also surrounded by water so there are many opportunities to hang out on the beach or take up a new watersport or hangout in a boat all day. This destination also tends to be less crowded than other Central America locations and you get a lot of bang for your buck in Nicaragua.
Ireland
You can visit Ireland for relatively cheap if you know where to go. The key to visiting this country is to research the best deals ahead of time. Dublin is great for recent grads as you there’s a lot to do here at an affordable price. You can also usually find an extensive nightlife as well.
Brazil
With the Olympics taking place at this destination this summer, now is the perfect time to visit Brazil. Visa requirements have been waived for U.S. residents so you can visit the country for up to 90 days. This would make a great graduation trip since not only can you see some of the Olympic Games, which is a trip in and of itself, but you can also see many of the incredible sites of Brazil while you are there.
The United States
If you are looking for a short vacation or just don’t want to leave the country, there are a lot of great destinations for grads to visit right here in the United States. New Orleans if a favorite among young adults with its fun, party feel. Key West is perfect for those that want to spend their days on the beach and their nights out on the town. Interested in celebrities or movies? Los Angeles is a great destination with everything to see and do there. Of course, we can’t forget New York City. This destination is literally the city that never sleeps with a variety of events occurring no matter what time it is.
