The Cities Around the World To People Watch

1311

One of my favorite activities to do while on vacation is to people watch. You can see a lot of interesting characters and learn quite a bit about a culture by simply observing others. It’s fun to see all the different characteristics of each person that make up each of the places I visit. The following cities are some of the best places in the world to grab a comfy seat and enjoy all the people that walk by.

Las Vegas, Nevada
This is called Sin City for good reason. It’s full of an extravagant nightlife which means that a lot of people dress up in some crazy attire. While in Las Vegas you can see everything from people dressed as Elvis Presley to showgirls decked from head to toe in elaborate costumes. Las Vegas is the place to go if want to sit back and grab a drink at one of the many bars and have a good time watching all the partygoers.

Sydney, Australia
With around 5 million people living in Sydney, it’s no wonder that this is one of the best places in the world to people watch. The city is pretty much always full of life. With a big disco scene, you can often see people dressed in garb that looks as if it’s from another decade. It’s also fun to admire all the people that are dressed up in their best outfits as they go to the Sydney Opera House.

Seoul, South Korea
This city has double the amount of people than Sydney, Australia. Those in Seoul love to go out and party hard at one of the many night clubs and bars. What’s fun about people watching here isn’t necessarily the locals, but the tourists. They tend to want to try to fit in with the wild party scene and will go all out and dress in some of the wackiest looking outfits that they can find.

Amsterdam, Netherlands
The city of Amsterdam is known for being very laidback. This can make for some very interesting people watching. Nothing is off limits in this city. Clothing that can seem scandalous in America, might not receive the same reaction as it does in Amsterdam, which makes for an interesting experience. This is definitely not a city to visit for those that are shocked fairly easily.

Hollywood, California
This city is one of the best places in the world to people watch. The biggest reason why is because of the amount of actors and actresses that can be seen here. It’s not uncommon for tourists to see one of their favorite celebrities walking down the street or stopping for a drink at a coffee shop.
