TravelAge West chooses emerging leaders in travel to participate in inaugural Future Leaders in Travel Retreat

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida – TravelAge West is proud to announce that professional travel advisor Bella Pierre from Atlas Cruises & Tours was selected to attend The Future Leaders in Travel Retreat. Advisor participants must be between the ages of 22 and 37, have a passion for professionalism, show enthusiasm for impacting the future of travel, and be inspired to find new and better ways to sell travel.

Those selected have completed a thorough application process that includes demonstrating their personal brand, sharing insights on the current state of the industry, and providing professional references.

The Retreat is the only event in the industry dedicated to connecting the next generation of travel buyers and sellers in order to move the industry forward.

The Retreat takes place at Aspen Meadows Resort, home of the Aspen Institute in Aspen, CO, September 4-6, 2018. The event is powered by TravelAge West, a valued resource for travel advisors that is dedicated to delivering dynamic content that explores the latest destinations, trends and products.

“I am very excited to attend this conference, particularly because it offers a unique format and activities in beautiful Aspen, and allows for networking within a smaller group setting,” says Bella Pierre.

At The Retreat, qualified travel advisors and suppliers will get to know each other through unique, collaborative content sessions; outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and yoga; and social events full of local flavor. Education will focus on professional development topics specific to future leaders, and will provide insight on how this generation will influence the future of the travel industry.

“Advisors selected to attend The Retreat are those who will be shaping the future of the travel industry. They’ve shown their passion and commitment to the industry and are excited to move the industry forward,” said Jacqueline Hurst, Director, Trade Recruitment and Engagement, Events, Northstar Travel Group. “The event will spark innovation and creativity, develop leadership skills and help form valuable relationships.”
