Iceland Volcanic Eruption Causes Travel Delays

1009

At Atlas we only work with a handful of travel partners, and its during  unforeseeable events such as airline strikes and unpredictable weather, that these partnerships are even more valuable.  Due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland, and the resulting closure of several major airports, including London, Oslo, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Scotland, many clients have been left with no flights.  Our partners are working closley with the airlines to rebook every affected client.  It’s great to have this representation and know that are our customers are being taken care of while they are oversees.  We can make all the calls we want from the U.S., however having local guides and hosts in the UK, along with the tour operator’s and cruise line’s buying power with the airlines, gets results.

This situation might impact travel to these airports and others in Northern Europe through tomorrow.
