When seeing a new or unique place, of course you want to take a photo of it and share it with your friends. One of the most popular ways to do this is through Instagram. The following destinations were the most “Instagrammed” ones for 2016.

10. Vystavka Dostizheniy Narodnogo Khozyaystva, Moscow
This is actually both a trade show site and an amusement park. Because of the amazing views it has, it’s not surprising that it made the list.

9. Brooklyn Bridge, New York
The Brooklyn Bridge is an icon in New York. You don’t have to love bridges to appreciate it. The bridge’s intricate architecture makes it a great site to stop at and take a picture.

8. Santa Monica Pier, California
There’s so much to do at the Santa Monica Pier. Photos of this west coast fixture often depict how much fun visitors and natives are having.

7. Las Vegas Strip, Nevada
Sin City is full of bright lights, flashy landmarks and a lot of interesting activities. Visitors often take to Instagram to show their friends and family members what’s going on around them because some of the things that occur on the Las Vegas Strip are pretty unbelievable. 

6. Louvre Museum, Paris
There’s so much beautiful artwork located in the Louvre. In addition to this, the building is incredibly gorgeous which is probably one of the reasons why so many pictures of it are taken and posted on Instagram.

5. Eiffel Tower, Paris
The massive size of the Eiffel Tower make it so unique and picture worthy. It’s hard to visit this gargantuan tower without snapping a photo or two of it. The Eiffel Tower is so popular in fact that’s it’s the most Instagramed location located outside of the U.S.

4. Times Square, New York
The Time Square is similar to Las Vegas as there’s so much going on here. With all of the bright lights and huge digital screens, why not take a picture of it while you are in the city?

3. Central Park, New York
There’s always something going on in Central Parks, from plays to marriage proposals, there is always an opportunity to take a picture just lurking around the corning.

2. Universal Studios Properties, Florida And California
With millions of people visiting the Universal Studios theme parks, Instagram is inundated with pictures from parkgoers. Some of the most photographed attractions include the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter, located at Universal Studios in Orlando.

If the Universal Studio Properties are on the list, it’s no surprise that the Disney Properties are on it as well. It’s considered to be the happiest place on Earth and millions of people snap photos of themselves riding rides, greeting characters and eating a bunch of food then posting all of it on Instagram for others to enjoy.
