Not all bathrooms are created equal. If you’ve ever traveled, you will certainly know what I am talking about. Everything from toilet paper to even toilets can seem like a luxury dependent on your destination. However, some places take bathrooms pretty seriously and try to give its users a luxurious experience. If you want to see some of the world’s best bathrooms, check out some of the following places.

Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria, Italy
This unique bathroom actually has a room within the bathroom. If you are in the mood for some “mood” lighting you can change the lights to either yellow, blue or red. The room is paneled in marble and is trimmed with Swarovski crystals. The showers have a scent therapy mister. Despite how impressive this bathroom looks, one of the most memorable things about it is the view. Guests can look out at the St. Peter’s Basilica while they are utilizing the facilities.

China Grill Bathroom, Mandalay Bay Hotel, Las Vegas
Each bathroom at the China Grill is unisex. Despite this, it’s appealing to both men and women. It has stainless steel and white décor. There are opaque windows and TVs in each stall.

Trump Tower Bathroom, Trump Tower, New York
Designed by famous designer Kenneth Bordewick, no expense was spared in this bathroom. Guests can enjoy the purple velvet walls, marble counter, candelabras and orchid plants. You will feel like true royalty as you wash your hands in the gold sink.

The Peninsula, Tokyo
This bathroom is spacious and full of amenities. Upon approaching the toilet, the seat cover automatically opens. The seat can also be heated. There is a bidet that has settings like clean, dry and water massage. The bathroom is fairly spacious and adorned with wood looking walls and glass enclosures.

The Landmark Mandarin Hotel, Hong Kong
What’s so impressive about this hotel isn’t necessarily the surroundings, (although they are pretty great) it’s the service that comes along with using the bathroom. There’s no need to run your own bubble bath as someone will do that for you. They will also surround the 7- foot tub with candles and roses. All of this indulgence doesn’t end when your bath is over. A butler will set up a massive spread of chocolate-covered strawberries and caviar as well as a bottle of 1959 Dom Perignon.

Would you ever visit a destination just because of the bathroom?
