Best Water Parks Around the World

Feeling a little hot and want to cool off? Then you are in luck because there are quite a few water parks located throughout the world. These are some of the best ones to visit.

As soon as you step foot in this water park you can tell that it’s different than all of the rest. This 46 acre space is filled with Thai architecture. Guests can enjoy one of the many rivers or the free-fall slides. There are quite a few rides here including ‘The Dragon’ that has a light show and wind funnel, ‘Volcana’ that allows 4 people to ride and ‘The Giant’ that moves clockwise and counterclockwise. One slide that’s proven to be a favorite is the ‘Tower of Power’ that takes riders through a special area that features both stingrays and sharks. ‘Wave Palace’ features a beach type setting with white sand and a wave pool with the highest manufactured waves of any other wave pool in the world. Waves can get up to 11 feet high.

Beach Park In Brazil

This is the largest water park in Brazil. Located on Porto das Dunas’ beach, it has an area of around 1.8 million feet. It features everything from artificial rapids, pools and even saunas. As far as water slides go, there are plenty of them here. One of the most popular slide isn’t for those that are scared of heights. This water slide is a whopping 14 stories tall. The entire park is made up of the ‘Aquatic Park’ and ‘Resort’ as well as the ‘Beach’. In the ‘Acqua Circo’ area, there are things likes fixed peddle boats, fountains, cannons and a shallow pool. It’s set up to look like a circus big top since the name ‘Acqua Circo’ translates to “Water Circus”. There’s also an area for the kids called ‘Arca de Noe’ or “Noah’s Ark”. It features mushroom showers and many exhibits that have spraying nozzles.

This 3.8 hectares park is located across from south Kuta’s ‘Discovery Shopping Mall’ which makes it a very convenient place for tourists to visit. It’s been open since 1993 and features 17 different slides and a salt chlorination system that won’t leave you with burning eyes or itching skin after visiting the waterpark. For those that are seeking a thrill, they can race a partner down the ‘Twin Racers’ slide. The ‘Boomerang’ will take riders on many twists and turns at a fast speed. If you are looking for something a little tamer for the kids there are mini slides as well as pools to enjoy.

Aquaventure Waterpark In Dubai

This is Europe’s number 1 water park. It features a variety of record breaking rides as well as a large beach to relax on. Visitors also have the opportunity to see stingrays and sharks. For those looking for an adrenalin filled ride, head over to the ‘Leap of Faith’. It takes riders down 90 feet into a shark lagoon. ‘Shark Tunnel’, ‘Poseidon’s Revenge’ and ‘Zoomerango’ are also adventure filled. If you want to relax a bit there is a lazy river. Kids can enjoy their own play area called ‘Splasher’s’ that features mini-flumes and massive water buckets.

Volcano Bay Orlando

Recently opened on May 25, 2017, this park has become quite popular already. The massive 200 foot tall ‘Krakatau’ volcano is what the park is themed around. There’s a lot to do here including the tallest body slide in the United States, ‘Ko’okiri Body Plunge’, which is 125 feet tall. Besides all of the slides, the one thing that makes this park so unique is the TapuTapu wristband system. Basically guests wear a wristband that is given to them when they enter the park. When guests visit a ride they no longer have to stand there and wait as the wristband keeps track of their place in line and alerts guests when it’s their turn. This allows them to visit other parts of the park rather than standing in a line, waiting for their turn on a ride.
